In the pursuit of justice, accuracy isn’t optional—it’s essential. Liberation Through Delineation exists because when history is blurred, accountability disappears.

Delineation means recognizing that Black Americans whose ancestors were enslaved in the United States are a specific people with a distinct historical experience. This isn’t exclusion. It’s refusal. Refusal to let a precise lineage be absorbed into a generic category that cannot carry the weight of the harm or the repair owed.

Recent cultural moments—on major stages and in public narratives—continue to flatten Black American history into broad ideas of “Blackness.” The issue isn’t celebration. It’s substitution. When specificity is lost, so is justice.

Our ancestors were prisoners of war, kidnapped, enslaved on U.S. soil, and forced to build this nation without pay. Emancipation was followed by Black Codes, convict leasing, Jim Crow, redlining, and policies designed to block generational wealth. No other group in America carries this exact, state-sanctioned chain of harm.

This movement is not anti-immigrant or anti-diaspora. Different histories deserve distinct recognition.

Clarity empowers. Delineation protects the claim.
